Unpaid Work Experience
Work experience is mainly for GCSE students, for a period of two weeks unpaid.
The Bank has a limited capacity to take work experience students and does not advertise any placements. Instead we offer a small number of placements to students from our ‘partnership’ schools in London.
Temporary Vacation Work Placements
We do not operate a programme which is open to direct applications. Instead, we offer a small number of summer vacation work placements each year via our partner organisations, Brokerage Citylink and the UK Career Academy Foundation.
If you are still at school and are interested in working at the Bank then we recommend that you visit the websites of our partner organisations for information on obtaining placements within the Bank and with other City institutions.
We regret we are unable to respond to individual requests for work experience.
